...year and a half? My apologies.


Truth be told, I'm still struggling with scathing self-critism. Call it a personality flaw of sorts. But even though I let my account go stale, I'm amazed my work is still getting favorites and those delicious (constructive, lol) comments. You guys completely rock!

With that out of the way, I present the updates. New pencil and ink work added to main gallery. Scraps will be getting alot of attention as I clear out stuff that's been hiding on my hard drive. Be sure to check them out if you like my pencil work. :3

Will be digging up some older comic-style work and getting some new ones up hopefully pretty soon! I'm sort of struggling with a little thing they call PERSPECTIVE.

Haha, 7 months between journal entries. GO ME. I should totally do an emo rant, just to celebrate.

Class starts up again this week. It's a double edged sword, I guess. More homework on the downside (English comp = NO), but on the upside I get to take an Illustration class! This means I will actually be PAINTING - something I've probably done about 4 times that I remember.


And yes, another tag. Blame .

Normally I don't do these, but oh well. Because honestly, who wants to know that I can turn my bellybutton inside out?

2. I absolutely cannot draw without my favorite old sketching pencil. I chewed the end clean off and its down to about 3 inches now. It's a security thing. Kinda like a blanket.


3. When I babysit my nephew I always tell him the legend of Oma and Shu for bedtime. He keeps asking for Snow White instead.


4. I harbor an intense dislike of shoes. Same goes with socks.


5. I am probably the flakiest person you will ever meet in real life. My mind wanders TERRIBLY and I tend to miss the painfully obvious as a result.


6. I enjoy cleaning house. I get a sick sense of satisfaction from seeing a clean toilet.


7. I couldn't get in art class in high school. Guess they thought slackers who wanted an easy credit were more suited for art instruction. -____-;


8. I had a cat named Zhao. He got ran over. Kids, don't name your pets Zhao.

So today was my first night back at karate. I have been out of comission for a few months due to injury and a college class. So I come back and one of the blackbelts tells me he's going to open a new school.

And wants me to help teach. *foams*

Yeah, so as you can imagine I'm pretty stoked about it. Plus he's privately helping me with my bo staff cause no one else in our class takes bo. More for me!

Bad news is, when I was driving home my car suddenly decides to die for no reason at all. x_x So I coasted into a school driveway, spazzed, started it up again and everything was peachy keen.

....wierd.

ZOMGZ I hit 15,000.

To be completely honest, I have been feeling kind of guilty for ranting here about that art thief...so sorry if I blew my stack. It takes a lot to get me angry. ><


Hmm let's see..well I had my first week of a drawing and general art class. Drawing is going great. Art, not so much. I struggle more with drawing circles and inverting the colors of the overlap than anatomy. I think it's kinda funny, actually.

Oh yeah, and I managed to get my car wrecked and repaired in the course of one week. I LOVE JOO DADDY.


P.S. Sylvacoer, I SWEAR I'm going to work on my half of our art trade. I just need a lil' artistic fiber. x_x
